Welcome to the Kirklees Wargames Club blog and forum. We are a small group of table-top wargamers who get together weekly to play games which vary from Ancient/Medieval, through English Civil War, American War of Independence, American Civil War, and all things Napoleonic, plus WW2 to Sci-fi and fantasy, using scale-model armies on purpose-built terrain and scenery. We meet at Beaumont Park Visitors Centre, Beaumont Park Road, Huddersfield HD4 7AY on Monday evenings from 6.15pm. New members (over 18) are always welcome. 2009 Tasks

Happy New Year.!

Over the next month or so, I intend to post the photos and write-ups from our past demo games.

The main reason for this is to give any viewers a better idea of what we do as a club. These photos are on our KC Yahoo Group (http://uk.groups.yahoo.com/group/the_kirklees_crusaders/) but one must register to view them, which could put some people off.

Another reason is to make more use of this blog. We have no web-site, so this blog (and the Yahoo Group) should complement each other; one as a display and the other as a working communication centre.
